Keizer Iris Festival!

We will be in the Saturday Iris Festival Parade along with Town and Country Lanes, Keizer Gamestop, Adrian Empire, Batman, and The Joker. We will be doing a costume party food drive for the Keizer Food Bank. Come on out this Saturday and join us! Our food drive will be going on from now until Saturday, May 23rd. Bring your food donations in to the store anytime from now until May 23rd. We will be giving away comics for food donations.

I wish to thank all of you, I am shocked and overwhelmed at the help and response we received to make our event a success. Thanks to all of you we raised $611 for SHRINERS and DOERNBECHERS CHILDRENS HOSPITALS, and 2 bags of food for the KEIZER FOOD BANK, and everyone had a ton of fun doing it. To our regular customers, the people of Salem/Keizer and visitors from Portland to Roseburg who stopped by, thank you for your generous contributions, cash and raffle ticket purchases. To the Statesman Journal (particularly K. Williams Brown and Jillian Daily), thanks for all the mentions about what we were trying to do and a very well timed article. To the Keizertimes for their mention and support, thank you all. To all my staff, friends and guests (a list will follow), who donated so much time and work, I cannot begin to tell you how lucky and blessed to call you all friends. Thank you again, and we will see you at the next fundraiser.

Just keep you eyes and ears open, and KEEP READING.

Movie Premieres!

Join us for the midnight showings of the best movies coming out this summer! For details and theater information, call or stop by!

Psycho Guitar Killers

What a blast! The Psycho Guitar Killers release party at Town and Country Lanes was great. Thanks to everyone who came out and helped us raise money for the Willamette Valley Humane Society. We raised over $500 and a truckload of towels!

We are overwhelmed here at the shop and the Keizer Community Food Bank by everyone who contributed to our food drive and directly to the food bank these past few weeks. What a GREAT community and bunch of friends we have. The shelves at the food bank are filled again and the food keeps coming (hopefully it will continue). We received over 4 barrels of food and $108 in cash donations at our event thanks to you. My heart is filled.....Tony

Superhero Bowling Night

What a blast! Superhero/Sci-Fi bowling at Town and Country Lanes was amazing. Thanks to everyone who came out and helped us raise money for the Marion/Polk Foster Childrens Program. Mardi at Town and Country was wonderful. She really spoiled the Darkside Troopers, Cloud City Garrison: 501st Legion, and the artists Micah Baker, Charlie Reiter, Sean Cruz, and Adam Gallardo.

Big Thanks to the Darkside Troopers and the Cloud City Garrison: 501st Legion for putting up with the heat at Volcanoes Sci-Fi Nite. They raised $250 for the Childrens Christmas Charity. And thanks to the fans who came out, new and old.

Movie Promo Days

For those of us that remember movie promo days, you probably miss it like we do. Well the wait is over and movie promo days are back. We'll be kicking off the season with Iron Man May 2nd at Lancaster 11 or Santiam 11. Followed up by Indiana Jones on May 22nd. At these promos we'll be giving out prizes to the audiences and most likely dressing up. So don your favorite costume and meet up with us to see these movies the night they come out. As we find out where the movies will be shown we'll relate it here.
